Eastwood becomes a member of ICONS

On a mission to become the global voice of online schools, the International Community for Online Schools (ICONS) is an international network that brings online schools together by way of collaboration and community. Now, Eastwood Global is part of that community.

Founded in 2023 by d-teach online school alongside the European Commission’s Digital Education Hub Accelerator Program, ICONS blends influential leaders and thoughtful teaching methods with digital innovation to provide an inclusive, all-encompassing online destination for schools, educators and policymakers around the world.

With online schools based out of the United Kingdom, Australia, Greece, Belgium and Sweden and other worldwide locations, ICONS is growing. An informative hub for institutions and teachers alike, the ICONS platform empowers its members to share their expertise, resources and experiences to enhance online educational experiences for students everywhere.

Here’s what the collaboration will involve:

1. Promoting further collaboration between online schools worldwide to foster innovation and inclusivity within digital education.

2. Supporting the development of best practices in online and blended learning environments.

3. Strengthening partnerships with EdTech sectors to enhance the delivery and quality of online education. 

4. Encouraging knowledge-sharing through events, research, and publications focused on improving online learning.

Eastwood Global is looking forward to sharing its knowledge, tools and first-hand experiences with other ICONS members while immersing itself in an online community that continues to thrive.
